Past Epic Games Free Games of the Week

Throughout the history of Epic Games’ free game of the week tradition, they have offered some truly amazing games for you to download free of charge. Released in November 2017, the Celebration Edition is a complete version of this action-adventure shooter. It includes all the DLCs, updates, and customization options made available for the game since it was launched. Test out your lightsaber and blaster skills as you let the Force guide you through epic battles set in a galaxy far, far away. There are three game modes in Fortnite, although only two are available on this free version. You can play Battle Royale and Fortnite Creative for no charge, but you will need to pay to play Save the World. Regardless, you get a pretty good deal with the free version, so round up your friends and let the battle royale begin! The game itself is not very complicated, boasting fluid motions and actions grounded in real-life physics. You can play online with up to three friends, and you can take your pick from extra game modes such as Hoops and Rumble. Beyond that, you can unlock different items, take on challenges, and join tournaments all in one neat game that you can get for free. Hyper Scape is a Ubisoft title released in August 2020. It is a free-to-play game that pits 100 competitors against each other in first-person combat. The action is very fast-paced, too, so you don’t have to worry about becoming bored within a few hours of playing. In this game, you will need to make use of different skills to survive. You need stealth and accuracy to remain undetected and shoot your targets. With a whole range of weapons available, you can use a sniper, machine gun, or rifle to take down your opponents. You can also choose from seven champions, each of whom boasts a different set of superpowers. Find one that suits your gameplay style and go wild! The great thing about this game is that there are so many playable characters, known as Rogues, to choose from, along with a good selection of game modes and maps. To play, you need to compete in matches of multiple rounds where you earn money for completing tasks and defeating opponents. You can then use this money to buy weapons, upgrade existing ones, and purchase perks and other equipment. There is a limit to this game, though. This free version only lets you play levels 1 through 65. If you want to progress beyond level 65, you’ll need to buy the full game. This action RPG game is available for free online. It boasts character customization that goes deeper than most other games. Path of Exile also has an impressive passive skill tree, skill gems that you can socket, and a system designed for detailed crafting and itemization. There are also seven starting classes to choose from, along with 18 sub-classes. In Spellbreak, you wander the Hollow Lands, where you must use your skills and powers to defeat other players. This is easier said than done since the Vowkeepers have banned all forms of magic. Through a character you create from six different classes, you must take control of two magic gauntlets, find special hidden items, explore the world, and beat your opponents. A great thing about Neverwinter is that you can customize your character almost as freely as you would your Dungeons and Dragons hero. True D&D fans will also recognize the many iconic classes, locations, and encounters in the Forgotten Realms. The best part is, as one of the standard Epic free games, you can play Neverwinter at no cost.   In the game, you band together with other players from around the world to duke it out with your competitors. Strategize your plan of attack or defense, deploy resources, and do everything you would on a battlefield. Shoot opponents, rig explosions, and order people around—those are just some of the things you can expect from this title.   Diabotical is very fun and colorful, making it great for those who are looking for something light and easy to play. There are a handful of game modes you can play as well as 30 maps to explore. Moreover, you’d rarely have to deal with hard feelings or saltiness after playing since the Eggbots battle each other all in the name of fun! Even if you choose to play solo, you won’t be playing with a bunch of nondescript computers. Instead, you will compete with other players’ ghosts. Although you can compete to get into the regional and international rankings, you can also just play alone and collect medals. You play from a third-person POV, where you must survive shots from other players and ambushes from the side. Flex your strategic skills, use your weapons, and disable your opponents with your amazing powers. This turn-based game promises excitement at every turn, claiming to offer you the opportunity to “never the same game twice.” It surely sounds like it can deliver on that promise, as you can adjust a number of settings according to your preferences. The things you can tweak in the game includes map size, frequency of events, the number of planets, and the number of resources available.
